About Bill Madison

I started playing in bands in High School and through college (University of Rhode Island) where I became involved in the folk music revival of the early 60's. I played all the popular folk venues in New York, Boston and Montreal as well as touring Canada and as far West as Kansas City, and south to Austin. I released my first album, Sunday Mornin' Hayride in 1973, which now has been re-issued on Riverman Records and Yoga Records. That re-issue was voted in the top 10 retro re-releases for 2009 by The Acid Archives. I started Them Fargo Bros. in 1975, which became New England's premier country rock band and I toured with the band until my family and I relocated to Florida in 1992. I continue writing and recording my music in my studio at home and feature my music on my web site - billmadisonmusic.com where I have CD's available for sale. I am also networking to have my songs placed in films, etc.
